Joshua 12 listed a lot of kings were conquered by both the leadership of Moses and Joshua.
"It maybe tedious for us to study the list because the lands conquered was not ours." (Guzik, 2006)
But it is important to people Israel, because it is their land given by God.
I learnt that God was not a "Once Upon a Time" fairy tale (Guzik, 2006). The long list is to show records and evidence of such places and kings existed in the History of Israel.
